Devin Lima

Devin Lima, born Harold Lima on March 18, 1977, was an American singer best known as a member of the pop group LFO (Lyte Funkie Ones). LFO emerged in the late 1990s, becoming prominent within the teen pop and boy band craze of that era. Their self-titled debut album released in 1999 featured the hit single "Summer Girls," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a defining anthem of the summer. Lima's contributions to LFO's sound included catchy melodies and a blend of pop and hip-hop influences, characterized by their fun, youthful lyrics. The band's style was emblematic of the late '90s boy band phenomenon, contributing to the era's cultural landscape. After LFO's initial disbandment in 2002, Lima pursued solo projects and returned to the group for a reunion in 2009. Tragically, Lima passed away on November 21, 2018, after a battle with cancer. His legacy endures through LFO's music, which continues to resonate with fans of 90s pop, highlighting the era's distinctive sound and style.
